Energy Audit:
Nestle Indoor Lighting Assessment & AC Audit conducted in 2010. This involved the comprehensive audit of the lighting systems and the air conditioning systems (as part of the Indoor Air Quality Audit) for its two (2) factories in Bog Walk, St. Catherine; Bybrook and Milo Plants.
The University of the West Indies (Mona) – Lighting Audit & Retrofit Project. EEM was contracted by the UWI in 2009 to conduct comprehensive lighting systems audit and develop project execution plans for the retrofit of lighting systems in thirteen (13) high energy use facilities on campus and its six (6) main halls of residence. These included buildings with varying functional areas such as laboratories, lecture theatres, libraries, administrative areas, halls of residence, warehouses, workshops, etc. This scope covered lighting systems with over 11,000 fluorescent tubes installed.
EEM was also responsible for the development and implementation of a pilot project to introduce the use of 164 LED tubes as replacement for fluorescent lighting systems in a section of the Main Library on campus.
IGL (Jamaica) Limited – Lighting and Air Conditioning Audit; Implementation of AC Refrigerant Retrofit. Comprehensive energy audit done and report presented on the AC and Lighting Systems for Administrative Complex and the Industrial Facility of IGL at 593 Spanish Town Road, Kingston 11.
For the AC Retrofit exercise EEM in collaboration with Rexham Engineering changed out the refrigerant for 47 AC units.
