About our company
Environmental and Engineering Managers Ltd. (EEM) is a wholly owned Jamaican company incorporated in 2001. The principals of the company, Ianthe and Ernest Smith together have over 50 years of engineering experience.
Ianthe Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (UWI, St Augustine, Trinidad) and a Master of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering (University of Toronto, Canada). Ernest Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (UWI, St Augustine, Trinidad), a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Management (University of Ottawa, Canada) and a Master of Engineering degree in Regulation and Policy (Telecommunications) (UWI, St Augustine, Trinidad). Both principals are Professional Engineers registered with the Professional Engineers Registration Board (PERB) in Jamaica. Ernest is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
EEM is an engineering consulting firm, registered with PERB, that offers a wide range of engineering and project management services in the environmental, civil, electrical, energy management and telecommunications fields.
