Environmental Audits

June- July 2008

Alumina Partners of Jamaica - Lead Internal Auditor for full system audit of the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System (EMS) at ALPART.  This was a requirement prior to the Stage 1 Certification audit by external auditors.

Alumina Partners of Jamaica – Conducted Legal Compliance Audit required by the company for the implementation of an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

February 2006 to September 2006

Jamaica Manufacturers’ Association/ CIDA ENACT – Conducted Initial Environmental Reviews and sensitization in 10 private sector companies in preparation for their implementation of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems

September 2003 – April 2004    

EAST Programme/USAID – In collaboration with P.A. Consultants, conducted an Environmental Audit of the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI), specifically contributing to the section on solid waste management. 

June 2002 – October 2002

Coastal Water Quality Improvement Project (CWIP)/USAID – Conducted an Initial Environmental Review (IER) of the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) to establish the basis for an Environmental Audit and ultimately an Environmental Management System (EMS)

September 2003 – April 2004

EAST Programme/USAID - Conducted an Environmental Impact Assessment of the UHWI’s proposed incinerator to replace their existing unit.
