Inter-American Development Bank – Developed an Integrated Waste Management Strategy and Action Plan prioritising the main waste management issues related to solid and hazardous wastes, domestic and industrial wastewater and strategies for addressing them.  The process was coordinated by the PIOJ.

May 2008 – December 2008

Rural Water Supply Ltd. – Prepared a national strategy to address the provision of social water to the most vulnerable persons in Jamaica.

April – May 2008

Water and Sanitation Programme, World Bank – Prepared and administered  a CARICOM Sanitation Survey; prepared and delivered a presentation after compiling the responses from the survey at a 2 day Caribbean Sanitation Workshop (April 28-29, 2008 in Kingston Jamaica); prepared a paper on the Caribbean Sanitation Situation and Proceedings of the 2 day workshop

Ministry of Water and Housing/Ministry of Health & Environment – Prepared Jamaica’s Country Sanitation Report for presentation at the LATINOSAN Sanitation Conference

Claude Davis & Associates/ Meteorological Services of Jamaica – Prepared greenhouse gas inventory for the waste sector for Jamaica’s Second National Communication (SNC) as required by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, (UNFCCC), based on the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventories
